2025 All Member Virtual Meeting

Thank you to all physicians who joined us online Saturday March 29th 2025 from 8am-12:30-pm for our 2025 Annual All Member Meeting. This year's topic was: 'Going All Natural', Integrative Therapies for Chronic Disease Management. Our Program Chairperson, Dr. Gregory Thomas, put together an outstanding line up of speakers and the program received rave reviews. Kathleen Douangchak, M.D. Kathleen Douangchak, M.D. As the recipient of this year's Marianne McKennett, M.D./Lemon Grove Medical Group Honorary Fund, Dr. Douangchak has displayed an outstanding record of excellence in the care of under-served patient populations, marked by organizational leadership and innovation in the creation of new patient care projects. Percival "Perry" Nam Raneem Mokatrin, M.D. The Edwin Reithmayer, M.D. Memorial Scholarship Award is presented to a fourth year medical student actively pursuing a Family Practice Residency who exemplifies Excellence in Undergraduate Family Medicine. The SDAFP is proud to announce this year's recipient, Percival 'Perry' Nam who represents all the best qualities of a young Family Physician Leader. Karyssa Domingo Raneem Mokatrin, M.D. The Malvin Williams, M.D. Memorial Scholarship Award is presented to a second or third year UCSD Medical Student of color who is underrepresented in the medical field and exemplifies "Excellence in Scholarship, Character and Dedication to the Profession of Medicine, with interest in Family Medicine". This year's recipient is 3rd Year Medical Student Karyssa Domingo. Karyssa has already shown herself to be a leader among her fellow peers. She is passionate about community-based health advocacy and improving access to medical care for underserved populations in San Diego. CLICK HERE to read her bio.
